<title>Flying Back Home</title>
<link href="http://www.myeuropeanadventure.com/travel_journal/7/" />
<summary>Today has been full of mixed emotions. I'm very happy to go home and get back to my life. But at the same time, it's so sad to say goodbye to all the good friends I've made over the last thirty-six days.

I'm really going to miss my tour group and all the fun we had everywhere we went. I'll really miss Pacho, Ingrid, Courtney (both of them), Rob (the funniest guy I've ever met), Jamie, Jess and Chris. My love, best wishes and happiest thoughts go out to everyone on my tour. And I wish all still traveling the best of times and luck!</summary>

<title>Exploring Austria&#039;s Beauty</title>
<link href="http://www.myeuropeanadventure.com/travel_journal/6/" />
<summary>Of all the countries I visited on the tour, Austria was definitely one of the most beautiful. On the trip I fell in love with Germany, Austria, Switzerland and parts of Netherlands (i.e. Edam).

In Austria, we stayed in a small town named Hopfgarten. The town was so small you could go from one side to the other on a bike in maybe twenty minutes, and by foot in maybe thirty or forty minutes. The town was a very quaint and peaceful place, full of breathtaking views, a very green and picturesque countryside, and the cutest little town houses with bell-adorned cows you've ever seen.</summary>

<title>One Day And Night In Albania</title>
<link href="http://www.myeuropeanadventure.com/travel_journal/5/" />
<summary>Albania has been one of the best experiences of the trip. But it's definitely been a different type of experience - good in a different sense. It's by far the dirtiest, run down, and poverty ridden country I've ever been to. It's pretty much a third-world country. (And it's actually the poorest country in all of Europe.) And yet it's refreshing and mentally awakening to go to a country in Europe, that's not at all tourist or traveler friendly. It's a change everyone on my tour group welcomed.

There's trash all over the streets. And over much of the country there's no real roads - in the sense that they are in any way maintained. And people all over the country are living in what are basically cement house frames. These "houses" have levels, staircases, and pillars...</summary>

<title>Getting Lost In Venice</title>
<link href="http://www.myeuropeanadventure.com/travel_journal/9/" />
<summary>On day eleven of my thirty-six day tour with Contiki, I spent the entire day in Venice with a group of mates from my group - Courtney, Courtney, Jess, Chris, David and Jamie. It was a fantastic day spent exploring the beautiful, finely aged, city of Venice in Italy.

And on the way there our tour manager Double D (Dangerous) explained that the best way to explore Venice is just to wander and get lost. And we spent the day doing just that! Venice is such a beautiful and wonderful city to wander aimlessly about in. It's the perfect place to relax and put down the map or guidebook you've been vowing to protect with your life the entire trip! There are no dead end streets - and all alleys and walkways lead somewhere. And we found many a cool spot, dock or bridge by just wandering the city and having a great time.</summary>

<title>Re-Energizing In Barcelona</title>
<link href="http://www.myeuropeanadventure.com/travel_journal/11/" />
<summary>Barcelona is an incredibly fun and high class city. Take a walk along the city's scenic beach and you'll get a great taste of the striking and very creative restaurants and clubs the city has to offer. Anywhere you travel in Barcelona you feel a good vibe. A vibe that comes from a people that love to have fun, and are always looking forward to the next night out with family and friends.

Barcelona is one of those cities that re-energizes you and makes you feel more alive. It's the type of place that beautiful Spanish men and women flock to, and just try to pass the time each day, looking forward to the next great night out. And it's a city synonymous with people that party every night of the working week. Barcelona is a city of siestas, fine food, great shopping and some of the best bars and clubs I've ever been to. And I loved the time I got to spend there!</summary>
